I'm so glad I found the PumpEase because it turns out that Medela's true hands-free pump is about $100 more than the pump I bought, so my mistake actually ended up saving me money.
Although the PumpEase is easy enough to strap on and to remove, I did give it four stars out of five because Velcro would make it both A) easier to get on and off again, and B) easyier to wash. (The hooks on the hook and eye closures got stuck on something in my washer and bent horribly. Easy to fix, but Velcro would solve both issues.)
Otherwise, this is a great product and I'm actually considering buying a second one so I have one on hand while the first one is drying. And even with two, I'm still spending less money than I would if I bought the Medela hands-free pump.
I recommend washing by hand. (I know, like a working mom who is feeding an infant has time, but there are multiple hook and eye closures on this thing and trust me, it's worth it...almost faster to wash, rinse, and wring it dry than it is to get the hooks out of knots in your washer or the little holes in the lingere bag.)
I also appreciate the fact that with this order I received a personalized note from Wendy at GotBreastPump. This country needs that kind of customer service.
